I'm sorry! Post from Mommy

I'm sorry I've kept Lexi from all who read this often but she has been so BUSY! And I mean busy!!!! She's walking, and talking, and everywhere all of the time!!!! Whew... we are so tired! I thought I was tired when I wasn't getting any sleep! Oh my!!!!
I just wanted to post some of the cute things she's done lately so that I don't forget and I hope to get on here this weekend to update with pics!
Lexi is quite the little mommy:) It is so adorable. She picks up her dolls and pats them on the back. And lately she will take a bowl and spoon (no food inside or else it would be all over the house) and she'll pretend like she's feeding herself. If I come and sit next to her she feeds me too!!!! It's too cute:) Then last night, we were at a friends house who has a lot of toys. Lexi pretty much went right to the baby stroller and pushed it all over. Later I looked over my shoulder and there Lexi was with the baby car seat over her right arm pushing the baby stroller with her left arm!!!! It was soooooo cute!!! I wish I would have had a camera to take pictures:) I guess she needs a little sibling:):)

10 months old and working on the backyard

Easter Week

Since I'm such a lucky girl I got to have 3 Easter egg hunts this year!!!:) One at daycare, one at church, and one at home with my family and friends! (of course mommy only got pictures of 2, I'll have to ask my Auntie Dee for pictures with me and the Easter bunny at church!) Mommy even came to help at my hunt during daycare! I was so thrilled to "show her off" at daycare too:):):) We had a great Easter and hoped you all did as well. Here are some of the pictures from our events!!!

Our friends Freddie, DeAnna and Izzy (shown) as well as Dan and Jonea joined us this year for a wonderful day!!! We ate, played some Rock Band, had an egg hunt, put stickers on some eggs and played! It was all fun and after everyone left I was so tired that this is how my mommy found me...Asleep in my high chair!!!! I didn't even BUDGE when she moved me into my bed! Wow! I was TIRED!!!! Special Blanket

A good friend of my mommy's started a quilt for me about this time last year and... she finished it and I received it in the mail the other day! I immediately felt in love with it (but wouldn't sit still to take any pictures!!!) She also sent along a very sweet note that my mommy read to me and cried. She's growing like a weed!!!!

This is Lexi's mommy!!!! I took Lexi to see Doctor Lucien today and he said she's doing great!!!! He seemed a little shocked at how much she's doing these days but we are too!!!!! In fact, I don't think I've posted since she took 4 steps the other day!!!!! I will have her tell you about it later but it was very exciting!!!!!! (And scary at the same time...funny how that goes!)
She is 27 1/2 inches long (37%) and weighs 17 lbs 5 oz (16%). WOW!!!! I can't even believe it! Time has sure flown by!
