This year your birthday was on a Thursday but since gymnastics is on Wednesdays and mommy "works from home with you girls" on Wednesdays that is when we starting celebrating YOU!!!! Your teacher Ms. Blithe told you the week prior that for birthdays you get to have a "zip line" day and that is just what you got to do! First we started by going to have a "birthday coffee" which of course you love! Then we went to play with your friends at the gym! You loved class and the zip line!!

Can you tell you are having so much fun:)

Then on your ACTUAL birthday, we went and had another birthday coffee. Daddy even brought candles and you got a "cake" :) You decided you wanted to take bagels from Panera to "school" for your friends so we did that instead of cupcakes this year! They seemed to be a hit!

AFter school we surprised you by taking you to John's Incredible pizza. It was our first time there but you loved it! This is you with your ice cream cone after spilling on your shirt... which you were NOT happy about:)

The next day Papa Tom, Auntie Stephanie, Uncle David and cousin Jadon came to visit. This is you holding George the giraffe with Auntie, cousin, and sissy!!!

On Saturday we had a Hello kitty party for you! You had lots of friends and family over and daddy BBQ'ed ribs (they were DELICIOUS!!!) We had sprinklers and a water table set up for the kids and lots of food inside. It was a GREAT time!!!!

Here is your cake. Mommy figured she'd hand it over to the professionals this year:)

Friends

and more friends!!! Lexi you are a blessed little girl!!!! And truly daddy and I are blessed to have you. And of course Bubba and Clipper as well:) Right now: You love to sing (the songs are endless and in both Spanish and English!). Sometimes when we are singing songs that have hand motions you tell me, "no mommy like this!" It makes me laugh every time! You love to LEARN!!! You are a VERY smart little girl! Your memory is just like your fathers and usually better than mine! You remember peoples names, events, things that happened a long time ago "remember mommy when...", it truly amazes me! You've known your ABC's for quite sometime now but you can recognize most letters, know what most letters stand for (a for apple, b for baby etc) and are even starting to write your letters. This goes for numbers too! You like to READ and you really like to pretend that you are the teacher and hold the book and read your story! In fact, you just love to PRETEND! You dress up, you pick out you and your sisters clothes, you sleep in your sisters crib with her, mostly because I think you just love being close to her! You love your Bubba as well! Sometimes you guys "tattle" on each other and drive each other crazy but I think that's just part of being a sibling! You LOVE to be a back seat driver and if I ever miss a beat when the light turns green, you let me know it! You love your friends and family, you love to go to the park, you love to swing, you love gymnastics, you love your princesses/dolls, you love Jesus, you love going to church... really there would be a much shorter list of things you didn't like. You are fairly easy to please and know what you want! I just feel so blessed to have you in my life and so blessed to get to call you my daughter! You are truly a special little person and "you are in my heart"!!!!! You just taught Daddy and I that and we just think it's too cute for words! I love you my little Princess Lexers!!!! Before I know it you are going to be starting Kindergarten, at least that what it feels like since it goes so fast, but for now I try and enjoy EVERY moment!
