**UPDATE TO Daddy's update

Well yesterday morning Tommy woke up with a rash over most of his body. Of course we pretty much freaked and he called the doctor but it wasn't utnil the end of the day he got a call back. The doctor those that the rash was a reaction to the antibiotics and told him to quit taking them immediately. After more research on Tommy's part I guess there is a common "ammoxocilian rash" that occurs sometimes after taking the medicine for 8 days... so that was a relief. It's still there but we are hoping it's almost gone!
The doctor also told him that the other test results he had, mono and such all came back normal. As well as the Hep C. So there are only two more results we are waiting on and if those come back negative then he will have an ultrasound. The doctor thinks he just got a really bad virus. Tommy still wasn't feeling that great last night but better than he has been so we'll see!!!! If anything I think we are going to have them monitor his liver enzymes if they can't figure out what's going on! I'll update again probably Monday after the rest of the tests come back.

UPDATE!!! DADDY felt pretty good today but I woke up throwing up with a 102.5 temp!!!! I was pretty miserable all day and just wanted to be held most of the day. I did play a little bit but we mostly all laid around and tried to get a lot of rest today!!!!! PLEASE continue to pray for the health of our family! And for daddy's 9-day trial that starts tomorrow! THANK YOU TO ALL!

Post about Daddy -- PLEASE PRAY!

Some of this is a repeat but just so you have it all in one spot!
As some of you already know Tommy has been pretty sick since pretty much the beginning of July. His symptoms (besides feeling terrible and lousy) are that he'll run a low grade fever during the day (99.8 or so) that will end up being a higher fever in the evening time (101 and upwards of like 102.5) and wake up sweating and cold...and is JUST MISERABLE!!! I don't know it's just been terrible. He was put on antibiotics last week and told he should feel better that they weren't sure what was wrong with him, and to come back if he still felt bad. So yesterday he finally was able to go back back (unfortunately work has been so busy he wasn't able to take a moment off!!!!!) and they took about 7 vials of blood. I just got off the phone with him and the doctors office called him and he needs to go back for more lab work because his liver enzyme's are abnormally high and they need to do more tests. Please be praying for us right now.
To top it all off he is supposed to be sitting second chair in his first 9 day jury trial that is starting next week. And his work load continues to increase by the day!!!!!

Another post from mom! I forgot to mention that we finally finished Lexi's room!!!!!...mostly anyways:) These aren't the best pics in the world but at least you can see what we did:) Lexi got a new dresser, toy chest and "decor" on her walls:)

Well, I let her do it again... she's gotten behind. I'll catch up for her and hope that she can continue updating in a more timely manner! Lexi has grown up so much this past month its just amazing! Here are some of the things she's doing, some of which I've caught on camera and some I haven't yet!!!!! She is talking up a storm!!!! She says me (and miyo...though I'm not sure how to spell it), thank you, agua, este, Chloe (one of her friends from daycare), ball, no no no, yeah, she knows a dog goes ruff ruff and a cow says moo!!!! She points at things and says Hoy, which perplexed me so I finally asked Irene what Hoy meant in Spanish and she said that it means today. So why does my daughter point and everything saying today you wonder??? Well because every morning in pre-school after they sing songs they all sit down and do "school". The teachers will POINT at the calendar and say "Hoy es Lunes" or whatever day of the week it is... so Lexi has associated pointing with Hoy... pretty cute huh?? We thought so...and it finally makes sense now!!! She's going to outsmart her good ole' parents one of these days:) Her daddy recently got her a broom and dog that she likes to drag around with her everywhere. And her mommy gives her all of the tupperware she wants which most of the time she loves more! In fact she loves to put the big ice cream bucket (that's empty and been through the dishwasher many times of course!) on her head and walk around and laugh with us! She loves to twirl, and when she falls down she gets right back up and does it some more. She blows kisses and gives kisses now. I hear she gives Chloe hugs every morning when Chloe gets to daycare (Chloe is about 3 months younger than Lexi and crawls behind Lexi everywhere and Lexi will occasionally turn around and tell Chloe "no no no"!!!!) Oh great:):):) But they have become little buddies. She mixes in bowls and "pretends" to feed us or herself or her dolls. But she's learning how to use a spoon and fork too when eating her meals. She climbs onto the couch...and anything else she can! I'm so worn out these days I can't even think of anything else but I know there is so much more! What else have we been doing since the last post? Well we had some friends from Mt. Shasta come stay with us for a night and one of them has a little boy Noah who Lexi made friends with and tried to share her toys!!! Good thing he's pretty calm and didn't mind too much. Then it was fathers day!!!! And boy are Devin and Lexi blessed to have such a good daddy!!! He loves them so much and works so hard to make sure that they get everything they want!!!! But he's also home as much as he can be too because he knows that's so important too! I couldn't have picked a best man to call my husband and be the father of my children!!!! I love you TOMMY!!!!!! Then it was Tommy's birthday but he was really busy so we didn't do very much:(:(:( Then it was the 4th of July and we had Devin down and some friends come over and lit a bunch of fireworks and had a great time. And pretty much since then (or a little before) Tommy has been SICK!!!! If you guys could keep him in your prayers it would be greatly appreciated!!!! He's been running a low grade fever during the day that turns into a high fever at night to wake up in the morning and feel OK and then the cycle to starts all over again... They've had him on antibiotics and that hasn't helped so they did blood work today and we will find out what comes of that!!!! To top it off he has a 9-day jury trial that he's second chairing in start on Monday....so he would obviously like to be on his best game when that starts!!!! Now for the pictures (in case this much awaited blog wasn't long enough!!!!)

My first birthday!

I had my birthday a couple of weekends ago but I have been sick, and busy etc., so I have been unable to post! We had a great day! Thank you to all who were able to make it and we missed those of you who were not!!!!!
