ABC's of Lexi's 2006

A - Apples, bananas, peas, green beans, pears, a few of my favorites so far.
B - Bouncer. What I slept in for the first 2 months at least. Then I graduated to the swing and now the crib!
C - C-section. This was how I was born.
D - December. Christmas, I loved Christmas this year and can't wait until next year!
E - Espanol. The language that I'm learning in day care.
F - Football. I love to watch football with my mom and dad.
G - Grumpy? Not usually. Only when I'm tired or hungry.
H - Hi! My first word... or so it sounded like it to my mommy and daddy.
I - Irene. The name of my daycare provider (and my mommy's middle name!).
J - Jump. I love to jump either while I'm in my jumperoo or when someone is holding me.
K - Keys. My first favorite toy and still a favorite toy.
L - Lucien. Dr. Lucien is my pediatrician and Sherry is his nurse. Mommy calls them a lot!
M - May. The month that I was born. May 27, 2006, 6 lbs 3 oz 19 in long @ 9:13 pm @ UC Davis.
N - No. A word that I'm starting to hear more often now that I like to cruize around the house and get into trouble! I even started shaking my head no at the end of 06' :)
O - October. The month that mommy went back to work:(
P - Plumas Lake. The name of the city that we live in now. We moved into our brand new house when I was 3 weeks old.
Q - Quite a great baby I am!
R - Ring. The special present that I got from Daddy for Christmas.
S - Suptra. The antibotic that I take daily for my urinary reflux.
T - Teeth. I had 8 of them when I was 6 month old! I got my first when I was 3 weeks old.

V - X - VCSG was an X-ray that they had to take of my tummy to find out what caused my UTI at such a young age. Turns out I have urinary reflux.
W - Walking. Well not quite but it won't be long! But I do enjoy accompanying mommy on her walks.
Y - Yay! Good Job! Good girl! Good listener! Some of the praises I hear often from mommy and daddy.
Z - Zzzz's. I now wake about usually only one time at night. I usually go to bed by 8 and wake up about 6 to get ready for my day. I have to go to sleep with my Winnie the Pooh musical nightlight toy though... it helps me sleep:)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This month has been filled with accomplishments, family, friends, parties and so much excitment!!!! I found out that I LOVE Christmas but I've been so busy I can't even remember the last time I've had a moment to sit still!!!! Plus now that I'm crawling around everywhere I don't like to sit still!!!! What a waste of time:) Except when it comes to updating everyone how I'm doing I guess:)!!!! Well maybe that will be my new years resolution. Sit enough to take a break, take pictures, write a little and send updates:) We'll see how that works out!
This update has also been made difficult because we got a video camera and a new computer and mommy and daddy haven't shown me how to upload my video's yet!!! Mommy still doesn't know how to do it either so once she figures it out I'll have her show me! And now that there's a video camera running mommy forgets to take my picture! Man what a bad series of events:):) Here's a few things to share anyways. Until later:)

Me and Auntie Hannah! I love her very much! She came and stayed over a week with us to help out while daycare was closed and mommy and daddy still had to work! Plus she really loves to hang out with me so we had a lot of fun together! Thank you Auntie I'm going to miss having you around! And I know mommy and daddy will to! Good luck this month in nursing school!!!!!

6 MONTHS OLD TODAY!

Merry Christmas!!! Love the Sheridan Family 2007

Well I can't believe it!!! I'm already half of a year old and I haven't updated my page in about 3 weeks!!!! I have been so very busy!!!! And last week I was sick so I didn't feel like doing anything but be held!!!!! My mommy stayed home with me all week and Daddy even came home early one day and took me to see my doctor! I weigh 13 lbs 13 oz!!!!!
These days I'm becoming very mobile!!!! I haven't started crawling but I'm trying. I get up on my hands and knees and rock but can't seem to get anywhere???? !!!!! So I get onto my tummy and scoot forward as fast as I can, especially if there's something in front of me, or out of my reach, that I really want!!!! My mommy keeps her eyes PLASTERED on me:) See says she has to watch me like a hawk so that I don't get myself into trouble:)!!!! Typical mommy:) What else am I doing? I'm eating solids now, sweet potatoes, peas, peaches and bananas so far! Other than the rice cereal, barley and oatmeal:) I have 6 yes SIX teeth now!!!! 3 on top and 3 on the bottom. I am sleeping very good in my crib! Since I haven't been feeling good though I haven't given my mommy a full nights rest in awhile, but I just wake up once and it's only to eat. So she's still very thankful!!!!
I had a great Thanksgiving!!! We had lots of friends over and I enjoyed seeing my friend Ayla!!! I also had fun hanging out with my grandparents and Devin the weekend before. OH and my mommy keeps getting exciting about this thing she calls Christmas!!!! She says it's Jesus' birthday and we get to celebrate it all month!!!! I'm so excited (and so is she!!!) because we bought lights and candy canes and a deer for the outside of the house... I think it looks so pretty at night:) Our neighbors are all celebrating too and they have cool stuff in their yards also... so fun:):)!!!!!

Weeks 22 and 23

So this past 2 weeks have flown by! I've been really busy learning how to sit up and wishing I could crawl! So instead of wishing I decided to start scooting backwards across the living room! I'm sick of watching all of the "big kids" get around so I decided to start doing something myself! Now all I do is push up and my legs scoot backwards and I move all over including going in circles! It's so much fun:) I've also been eating... I like rice cereal and barley so far! But I don't really like the oatmeal. I'm sure I'll try it again soon:) I have been talking up a storm too! I like to tell my parents all about my day, when I'm happy, when I'm sad...I even sing to them when I'm in a really good mood! At least I'm trying to sing:) And I'm still loving daycare; I even got to go on a field trip:) Well we went around the block on Halloween with our costumes on and our parents came to join us. It was a lot of fun!!!! Here are some pictures of my adventures during weeks 22 and 23 of my life!!

Mommy's back to work - Weeks 20 & 21

Well so far so good! I'm loving daycare and they are loving me!!!! I'm told that even some of the older babies are a little jealous because I'm stealing their time and they aren't the babies anymore! But I know they will like me as they get to know me a little bit better. Especially when I can crawl around because then I won't need to be held so much! But for now, I like to be held because thats what mommy and daddy do and I'm VERY used to it!!!! Plus mommy likes it that every time I get dropped off I go into someones arms and when mommy comes to get me (because she ALWAYS comes to get me!!!! she hasn't forgotten me, not once:)!!!!) I'm being held! I even get excited when I get dropped off. So these are all good things for mommy!
She tells me work is going good, very VERY busy, but she feels better knowing that I'm happy!!! And we have fun when she comes and gets me! And even more fun when daddy comes home. I sure LOVE my daddy! He makes me laugh:)

Mommy wanted to catch how quick I am!!! My daddy was swinging me around and next thing they knew I was holding onto an empty milk carton! I'm SUPER fast!!! My mommy says that she is going to have her hands full!!! I think she's right:)
One of my mommy's friends, Luke's mommy Kristina, is letting me barrow Luke's jumperoo!!!! This is my first day in it and I LOVE IT!!!! Mommy says that she loved to jump when she was little, but I'm sure I love it more:) I instantly was in love with this toy. I smile, and jump and love to hear the monkey sounds it makes when I do jump!!!

Daddy had a class the weekend of October 12-14 in SF and mommy decided since it was her last weekend before work started that we would join daddy and hang out in the city! This was Friday and it was the ONLY smile we could muster up since it was pouring down rain (well not yet from the looks of this picture!), mommy couldn't find the hotel, daddy was in class, I wasn't happy, etc etc etc!!! I could go on but I won't!!! It turned out to be a fine weekend:)
This was Saturday and mommy and I ventured out to Old Navy (it was 3 stories, so cool!!!!) on 4th and Market. It was right down the street from our hotel but we took the BART because I wanted to see what it was like.
Then we took the F street car train to Pier 39 and I got to go see some seals! There were a ton but there were too many people so mommy couldn't get a good picture! I could also see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge from here. Mommy told me all about it! Then mommy had some lunch and we went back to the hotel to hang out until daddy got there. It was a fun day!!!

And me again drinking my water bottle. Ok not yet!!! But it looks cool huh? My mommy let me play with it because I got mad when she wouldn't let me. It reminds me of this shirt I saw, Baby Gets What Baby wants:):)!!!!

Mommy and I took off for Pier 39 again on Sunday to visit the Aquarium of the Bay. These are some of the colorful and neat things I got to encounter! A pretty sea anenomi (sorry I can't remember how to spell that!!!).

And this was Mommy and I after we went through the Aquarium. Today was a good day:)
Today is Monday, October 15 and my parents are FINALLY feeding me some real food:) And I think that I LIKE IT!!! After grabbing a granola bar out of my dads hands the other day and licking it combined with my doctor telling mommy it was ok to feed me mommy finally caved! (Daddy has been wanting to feed me for awhile!!!)

Pretty much that's what I've been up to for the past couple of weeks! Oh and I sat up unassisted this past weekend but my mommy couldn't snap the picture fast enough so it went "undocumented!!!!" Maybe next time. I'm really like to sit up though and when I'm lying down I like to hold my head up and work on my tummy muscles. Now that my mommy's finally downloaded the pictures maybe she'll take some more of me:):)

Thank you to those who reminded my mommy to have me write some more. I know there are a lot of you out there that read this often!!! I hope everyone is doing great!!!!! I miss you all!!!!
